Local SEO

If you're a local business, Scout maps where you rank around your address (rank grid), audits your Google Business Profile, checks your local listings, and builds service × area pages.

Do customers come to you, or do you go to them? Scout reads it on your own site (an address with opening hours, or "we come to your home") and shows you the words it read on the business basics card — change it if it is wrong. It decides how area pages speak:

  • You go to customers (plumber, cleaning, mobile detailing): every area you serve gets its page — "we come to X".
  • Customers come to you (clinic, workshop, salon): your own city and district always; a neighbouring area only when people there search for the service and the trip to you is short. That page says "for residents of X" and gives your real address — it never pretends you are in X.

Scout never states a distance, a travel time or a "nearby metro" that nobody measured.

Your listings. Scout finds where your name, phone and address appear on the web and where they disagree with your site — a wrong phone in a directory sends customers nowhere. It also lists directories where competitors are and you are not. 5 credits from the button; re-checked once a month on its own.
