Chat or studio? Both — it is one product
Chat or studio? Both — it is one product
ScoutRank used to ask you to choose a mode: a chat-first "Simple" shell
for people who did not know SEO, and an "Expert" studio for people who
did. That switch is gone. One engine, one navigation, one product —
and the chat is a screen in it, not a separate world.
The rail. Every screen lives in the sidebar on the left. The four
rows at the top are the ones you open daily: Chat, The Loop
(what Scout did and what is next), Overview and Analytics.
Below them, groups fold out — research, strategy, content, local SEO,
links, AI visibility, results, setup. On a phone the same rail
becomes the bar at the bottom of the screen; the last tab opens the
rest of the list.
Chat is where you say what you want. "Get me more customers from
Google", "why did last month drop", "write the page for water heater
repair". Scout answers with the work itself — a plan, a draft, a
finding — and every action that costs credits shows its price and
waits for your button. Nothing is spent because you asked a question.
The studio screens are the same engine, laid out. Keywords,
competitors, the content plan, local pages, link prospects, AI
answers: each screen shows what Scout measured and offers the next
action on it. What you press there and what you ask in the chat
reach the same queue and the same site.
Two dials, not two modes. A Playbook is the route — which
strategy Scout follows and in what order. Autonomy is who drives
— whether Scout proposes each step for you to confirm, or runs the
route itself and reports. Both are set per site, and neither hides
any screen from you.
